The Mitsumi 485FTE CD-RW drive offers a highly reliable 54X write speed, 32X rewrite speed with the power and performance of a 54X read speed. The Mitsumi 54x32x54 CD-RW drive’s Enhanced IDE interface can be installed easily and is fully compatible with almost any PC for true plug-and-play capabilities.

Mitsumi’s 54x32x54 CD-RW drive is ideally suited for writing and storing massive amounts of data, up to 700 MB (using 80 min. media). With the ability to write and read a large range of formats including CD Text, multi-session, Photo CD and CD-DA, you can store digital photos, Internet images and audio CDs all with the reliability of buffer underrun protection.

The Mitsumi 485FTE supports the new Mount Rainier next generation packet writing format standard.  Mount Rainier offers drag-and-drop CD rewriting and on-the-fly formatting of the disk, making the CD an ideal floppy disk replacement.
