Mitsumi Serves Peripheral Palates with Mitsumi Sushi Mouse

IRVING, TX - March 13, 2001 - Mitsumi Electronics, the world’s largest manufacturer of computer peripherals, adds another innovative product to their new generation of peripheral products – the Mitsumi Sushi Mouse. The Mitsumi Sushi Mouse was designed for mobile computer users. Its micro size, less than 4 inches in length, makes it one of the smallest mice products on the market.

The Mitsumi Sushi Mouse features an integrated digital optical sensor and a shorter length (33 inches) cable for improved reliability. The Sushi Mouse can operate on any surface even on clothing. It is ideal for computer notebook users who may work on a cramped workspace such as on airplane tray. Its USB interface is compatible with Mac or PC with a USB port. Minimum system requirements: PC or compatible system with Windows 98 or higher. Macintosh with OS 8.5 or higher.

The Mitsumi Sushi Mouse will be available through OEM and distribution March 2001. It will also be sold through the online store Mitsumi Direct (http://www.mitsumidirect.com). The suggested retail price is $24.99 US.
