Mitsumi’s New Generation of Peripheral Products Introducing Mitsumi Keyboard + Hot Keys

IRVING, TX - February 5, 2001 - Mitsumi Electronics, the world’s largest manufacturer of computer peripherals introduces their new generation of Mitsumi peripheral products with the Mitsumi Keyboard + Hot Keys. Mitsumi designed the keyboard to serve users with convenient access to applications.

The Mitsumi Keyboard + Hot Keys features fifteen hot keys for one-touch access to Internet, e-mail and multimedia. Using the Internet hot keys, users can navigate the Web, access their favorite Web sites and search the Web. The multimedia hot keys enable users to access their default media player to listen to music or watch videos. The sleep button on the keyboard activates power management options – switching the computer to a low-power consumption state.

The Mitsumi Keyboard + Hot Keys has either a USB or PS/2 interface compatible with Windows 98, 2000 and Millennium Edition. For Windows 98 users, Hot Key driver software is included for programming the hot keys.

The Mitsumi Keyboard + Hot Keys will be available through OEM and distribution February 2001. It will also be sold through the online store Mitsumi Direct (http://www.mitsumidirect.com). The suggested retail price is $24.99 US.
