Mitsumi Introduces New Peripheral Product – Mitsumi 5-Button Mouse

IRVING, TX - February 5, 2001 - Mitsumi Electronics, the world’s largest manufacturer of computer peripherals, adds a new member to their family of peripheral products – the Mitsumi 5-Button Mouse. The design of the Mitsumi 5-Button Mouse was inspired by Mitsumi’s popular Scroll Mouse.

The Mitsumi 5-Button Mouse features a sculpted body design for comfortable fit, grip and tactical control.

The patented quick click scrolling mechanism enables users to scroll pages without the tactical stress of using a scrolling wheel. The supplemented thumb-side buttons provide additional convenient scrolling ability. Both the quick click scroll button and thumb-side buttons scroll Web pages, e-mail and documents.

The Mitsumi 5-Button Mouse is available in either USB or PS/2 interface for Windows 98, 2000, Millennium Edition and NT.

The Mitsumi 5-Button Mouse will be available through OEM and distribution February 2001. It will also be sold through the online store Mitsumi Direct (http://www.mitsumidirect.com). The suggested retail price is $14.99 US.
